Tonight’s BOLO PUNCH CANCELLED!!!

Bolo Punch Fans:

Unfortunately, I woke up this morning with no voice.  Barely any sound (other than deep, gutteral “bullfrog” grunts) come out when I try to talk.  Now, Emil, Nestor, and Tim might see this as a good thing (they think I talk too much as it is) . . . .but I can’t participate in tonight’s broadcast.

Also, our area (Chicagoland) is looking to get about a foot of snow tonight.  It’s never a good idea to be out on the roads in situations like this.

I hope our listeners understand that we only want to stay safe (and get well). . . and we’ll be ready to go NEXT WEEK!

Special congratulations to Alexander Povetkin for winning his unanimous decision over “Fast” Eddie Chambers this past weekend.  This win now gets him an “iron clad” shot at Big Wlad. . . .assuming he gets past Ibragimov.

Also, we’ll be covering the One in a Million fights LIVE from Radisson Hotel and Star Plaza in Merrillville.  Among those fighting are Ed Ochoa, Yvette Collazo, and our good friend, “The Fighting SchoolTeacher of Demotte,” Jimmy Holmes.  These shows are always a great time, always sold out, and always competitive.

I also have to congratulate our own Emil “Soda Popinski” Kegebein for his January victory in the Boxing Today Message Board Prediction League.  His prize is the 8X10 photo of Golden-Era Heavyweight RON LYLE, hand signed by Mr. Lyle, himself.  Way to go, Moe!

On top of that, BPBH wishes to congratulate Paul “Lil Holmes” Driscoll on his correct TRIVIA QUESTION answer last week.  He hit us up on the IM. . . . (bolopunchboxinghour) and has a Bolo Punch Prize Pack coming his way.

We’ll see you next week. . . Save us a Ringside Seat!

***Chris Guzman has hosted The Bolo Punch Boxing Hour since 2002.
