Pacquiao Artwork on Display at Chicago Presser!

Wednesday, at the David Diaz-Manny Pacquiao press conference, held at Lalo’s in Chicago, boxing artist Chris Guzman was pleased to be able to show Pacquiao his likeness in a painting Guzman had recently created.  When he saw it, Pacquiao was quoted as saying, “I want you to sell it to me.”  Needless to say, another similar painting will soon be made for Manny to enjoy in his home in the Phillipines.

    Hey Chris,

I meant to tell you that I liked your painting! Great stuff!

I’m also an artist and do some drawing and painting as well. In fact, I’ve got a painting of Pat Metheny hanging at my brother’s restaurant, Cabs Wine Bar Bistro in downtown Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and am supposed to bring in some other paintings soon.

You’ll have to check it out when I host a post Diaz-Pacquiao get together there with David and Tanya Diaz as our honored guests. I’ll keep you apprised.

    Once again, nice work!

    Have a super weekend,

    Juan
