LARRY HOLMES INDUCTION SPEECH (exclusive footage)
Sunday afternoon, along with several other boxing celebrities and dignitaries, former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, NY in front of a capacity crowd. Bolo Punch, as usual, was in attendance, conducting numerous interviews and videotaping speeches. Easily the most stirring speech of the weekend was given by Holmes, as he thanked his family and friends, explained his infamous comment about “Marciano couldn’t carry my jock strap“, questions Muhammad Ali’s place in history as “the Greatest”, praises controversial promoter Don King, and finally, shreds fellow Hall of Famer George Foreman.
